This extension makes checking your customer's VAT ID number really easy. Instead of going to the European VIES website, simply populate the newly added EU VAT ID field in your Accounts module and click the "Check EU VAT" button. A pop-up box will tell you whether the number is valid and the company name and address. You can then simply manually copy the information into the required fields if they need updating.
