Link your Microsoft OneDrive or Sharepoint site with Zoho CRM. This extension will create a configurable folder structure in the linked account attached to the Accounts, Contacts, Leads, and Potentials modules in CRM. The folder and its content will be visible from the record view and hyperlinks provided to direct users to the documents or folder in the drive.

Hello, For security reasons how does the extension manage the files?, does the extension enable your company (https://a2zcloud.com/) to access the files in anyway or is this extension purely for connectivity?

I can confirm for you that A2Z Cloud in no way hold files or temporarily transfers files through any platform managed by A2Z. This extension acts simply as a connector to your Sharepoint and or Onedrive account.
It will automatically provision a folder within your document store for records in the CRM system to give you a place to store files related to a record instead of storing it on Zoho. Additionally, this will let you can see, within CRM, what files you have stored for a record without leaving the CRM.
However the file itself is on the Microsoft platform and any downloads or uploads are done there, not in Zoho. Uploads specifically are done directly to Microsofts service so are also not stored or processed by Zoho.
To support viewing file metadata within the CRM, calls are made to the Microsoft platform to fetch metadata, this means Zoho will show (but not store) this data dynamically when you load a record page to view it. This metadata is also not accessible to A2Z Cloud in any way.
Eric - How did you try to contact us please? Zoho's GDPR Policies mean we can't see your email address unless you contact us via the support link and we have no record of receiving an email from you in Zoho Desk. Please email us on support@a2zcloud.com with OneDrive in the subject line.
I love this so much but I wish that it worked with SharePoint. While you can get files with SharePoint it has to be connected to OneDrive and the files have to live there. Now I have all of my files except the ones that I use in conjunction with Zoho in SharePoint. I don't like having to manage both places. 5 stars for what it does do which I love.

Hi Christie, there is a settings page that lets you select which Sharepoint site and folder you want to use as the root folder for the integration. From there it will generate the relevant folders for each of your CRM records.
