The Shopify for Zoho Desk extension is designed to cater to the larger automation needs of Desk support agents. The extension creates support tickets for every Shopify order, so that the support agents can easily track customers and their order information without leaving their Zoho Desk interface.

Extension looks as if developers didn't care to fix the basic layout which looks shabby and not properly designed. Details are overlapping and are not readable. Also, order tracking link and details should be added, which is very basic. Thirdly, two way sync, which means ability to create order within zoho desk screen would be highly useful for resolving customer queries and creating replacement orders.

The extension does not work at all, tried reaching sales and customer support without any luck. We would love to benefit from the trail period but unfortunately not working.

I am happy that an extension has finally been created (the prior iteration should not even count), but this still does not hit the mark. The user interface in Desk is just not very good. It is slow, has a number of bugs, and is not user friendly... and that is before you install this extension.
Now on top of getting a ticket for every order (not sure why this even exists) you get a kind of helpful info pain that you can view (helpful in theory). The info pain is cramped, stops you from navigating between tickets, and requires lots of clicking to see relevant information.
Do yourself a favor and just get a Ticketing app designed for Shopify and avoid Desk until it gets a major overhaul.
Is the interface revamp just for this extension or for the application as a whole? I would love to share my thoughts if you would like to hear them and you think it could help influence the future of Desk.

Please let me know when the updates and automations are complete as I could greatly benefit from this. We get about 150,000 orders in a 3.5 month period and have a VERY small team that relies on proper mapping and auotmation that is timely and accurate. I could deal with a ticket for each order, but the tickets would have to be closed automatically w/o duplicating emails to the customers etc...
