After call is hung up, still shows active in Zoho. This happens at least once a day and makes time billing based on calls impossible. VONAGE, there are like 5 other reports of this dating back years. Are you going to do anything about this or just hemorrhage customers?
The Vonage Connect for Zoho app is worthless. Cannot connect more than one Vonage user/extension to Zoho. All Zoho click-to-call is routed through the same first-installed Vonage extension for all Zoho users. There is no interface to control this. There is no way to re-issue the confirmation code for a particular extension if there are conflicts between extensions.
Quality of Vonage tech support has deteriorated significantly over the years. Phone provisioning tech support is now worthless. We have 2 companies that ring to the same multi-line phone. Tech support in past years connected to our system and provisioned phones for this functionality without difficultly. This service is no longer available. Now the support tech changes things on their end and bricks our phones.
Cannot reach anyone at Vonage equipped to deal with either issue. I realize our issues are not the usual, but our concerns should then be escsalated to more senior support staff. Escalation is not available. The Vonage techs we chat with KNOW NOTHING about either of our issues.
We were originally customers with Vocalocity, which was a top-notch VOIP company. Vocalocity was purchased by Vonage. Things have gone downhill ever since. We are a business and expect business-class support. If you are business, don't bother with Vonage.
Some of the worst customer support I have ever encountered. Been with them almost 3 weeks and it still isn't working right. Don't waste your time with Vonage.
Works well most of the time, but does get annoying with unreleased/unended calls, or saving call notes that don't seem like they recorded (but they do). Was told to turn off Vonage on cell phone to assist Zoho in terminating call, but that doesn't work so well. It seems to be Vonage's issue. Positive note, it does work most of the time. Good for outbound calls.
