The Google Translate extension for Zoho Desk helps your agents view ticket conversations in their desired language. It also enables them to offer support in a customer's native language. For example, if you are on the ticket details page and you want to change the language of a customer conversation from French to English, then you can use the extension to view its translation right inside the ticket.

Please make it clear that though the extension is free it requires a Google Translation API key that requires a paid account (though apparently the $10 per month is credited back if less than 500,000 characters are translated).

As stated by Selva, Google Translation API is not free. Nevertheless, you do not have to pay anything to install the extension, which is free, on your Zoho Desk portal.

Google Cloud Translation API is now only offered as a paid service. Even if this app is a great idea, I think they should offer a wide range of translation API services instead of offering Google services only.
We have plans to support other translation services, but all these external services are not for FREE. They have their own pricing model and we are allowing them to integrate with Zoho Desk through our Marketplace ecosystem.
