With the MailChimp extension for Zoho CRM, you can now synchronize your Campaigns and Subscribers in MailChimp with Zoho CRM.
You also have the option of two-way synchronization, so you can choose whether you want to move data only from MailChimp to Zoho CRM or both ways. All of your contacts and leads will be imported based on your mapping settings, and your campaigns will be imported into the Zoho CRM campaigns module automatically.

It worked but it downloaded a read only Workflow that ran our API. We quickly deleted the integration, so we could look into it more. 2 star for right now since Zoho is trash.
The users will not be able to edit the workflow rules that come with the MailChimp extension. However, those workflow rules can be deactivated from the below location in Zoho CRM
Settings - "Workflow Rules" under "Automation" - "Rules" tab - deactivate the preferred rule by toggling the button on the right side of it.

It's a poor app, not worth installing. I've been desperate to sync data between Zoho CRM and Mailchimp. Installed this app multiple times to see if it's just the way I'm using it. Too many issues and missing features to list. Just save yourself the hassle and don't bother installing.

Disappointing because it says it will have two-way sync but it's not syncing. I've reached out to support and they've said they're looking I to it. But, no one has communicated anything additional to me. It's been 3 or 4 days now.

In principle its a good plugin but... It didnt sync in all campaigns and link the campaigns to the contacts Unable to send contacts with the button into mailchimp No subscription status was sent through or updated Bi-directional sync was limited in only able to sync whole database and not part from CRM to Mailchimp e.g contacts that were unsubscribed were being sent in and then being subscribed! Field Mapping was poor, especialyl as Mailchimp doesnt allow Boolean type fields When a large update is made to Mailchimp, e.g tags/emails or subscription status change, it triggers functions within the contact records, this was particularly debiliating as it would max out our function credits, especially when you have over 150k contacts! Campaigns although linked to Audiences, were unable to be seen within the Campaigns module despite being shown in a related list.
For the campaigns sync issue which seems user-specific, we would like to check the case over a remote session as it isn't the intended behavior. Could you elucidate the concern you're encountering when trying to move contacts to MailChimp using the button to assist you further?
If the subscription status of a contact in MailChimp is “Unsubscribed” then the "Email Opt-Out" field in Zoho CRM will be checked for the same contact. This accords in real-time irrespective of the “Conflict Behaviour” in the sync settings.
Our technical team is currently working on enhancing the extension to implement the automatic sync feature of moving a part or set of contacts from Zoho CRM to MailChimp. Stay tuned for more deets. Keeping the data up to date on either side by updating them in real time can be achieved only by invoking certain functions and workflow. These workflow rules which invoke functions can be deactivated if it is not imperative.

This can be achieved while performing the Bulk sync from the “MailChimp” web tab which can be configured while setting up the sync in the “Settings” tab. Please try the feature out and let us know if you have any feedback.
This is a poor extension with little to no up-to-date information. This integration does not even recognize Mailchimp Tags as an actual useable field. Should not have been released.
Tags for contacts from MailChimp will be imported into Zoho CRM records upon synchronization in both bulk and selective sync. The extension is being revamped periodically by adding more aspects.

After initially battling to get the sync going, a Zoho support representative showed my the various sync settings and shortly thereafter I had the contact synchronising correctly. Thanks Zoho support team!

After numerous attempts to get mailchimp working over a period of 4 months, I have had no success. I was told that it was not a general problem but specific to my account and that the developer would work on it. Every few weeks, I get an email, thanking me for my patience... Unacceptable level of customer service.

You will be able to see a MailChimp subscriber’s activity (bounce, open and click rate) of a campaign inside that particular contact detail view page under the “MailChimp Campaigns” related list. Also, you will be able to view the bounce, open, and click rate for a campaign that is forwarded to a list of audiences, inside that particular campaign detail view page under the “Email Activities” related list.
The campaign details and activities will also be visible on a pop-up screen when you click to open it from the “Reports” section in the “MailChimp” web tab. If you require further clarification, hit us up at support@zohoextensions.com

The extension is good but a bit limited. I had to do a huge workaround to be able to implement the automation I needed because the extension only imports the Leads or Contacts Modules from Zoho, but it doesn't import the Deals Module.
easy install but not enough information to assist with seamless integration. no assistance with importation of existing email address within the CRM. still working on fixing this issue. Currently cannot use the service we are being billed for to send mass emails due to this.

I ha a problem and the support was very helpful, showing me how to add a filtered list of Contacts to Mailchimp, also tagging them correctly. Very useful. It seems that soon this function will be automated so that on a trigger action (ie new contact added) the new contact will be added only if it satisy certain conditions.

I really want to like this integration. I have installed and uninstalled it about 10 times. It just does not do what I need it to do. I would like to sync only contacts that meet a certain criteria. For example, I want to create a rule so it only syncs contacts that have information in a custom field that matches predefined conditions. This extension does not do that. I ended up settling with a 3rd party service that links Zoho CRM to Mailchimp that allows me to create exactly what I am looking for. I really feel this should be a function of this extension by default. I have emailed the creator about it, but they send me a form response asking me to elaborate (which I already did). Maybe it will work for you. Give it a try.
The request mentioned by you is currently achievable manullay using this extension. You will be able to move a set of contacts that met certain criteria by selecting or marking those contacts from the list view and clicking the button "Add Contact to MailChimp List" at the top and choose MailChimp list from the pop-up to which you want to sync the selected contacts.
However the automatic syncronization for the above use-case, is currently under discussion to contemplate the workability of implementing it in our impending enhancements. Stay tuned for further updates!

Thanks for your reply. That solution is not very useful for our use case because we can only add a limited number of contact to mailchimp at a time. Also, we need to set a reminder to remember to do this manually. It's not really useful for us yet.
